What counts as an event?
Every run, log line, LLM call, tool call, check result, and score that lands in AgentPing counts as one event. Most teams see 5-15 events per agent run on average; a Team tier (1M events/month) typically supports 60-100k runs depending on event density.
Is there per-seat pricing?
No. Tiers are flat per team; invite as many teammates as you need on every tier. We charge for what the system processes (agents and events), not for who looks at the dashboard.
What happens if I exceed my event allowance?
A soft cap kicks in at 100% of the monthly allowance: telemetry continues to flow, but downsampling protects the system. A hard cap at 150% pauses new event ingestion until the next billing cycle or an upgrade. We email at 80% so you have time to react.
Do you offer custom enterprise pricing?
Yes. For teams running more than 100 agents, needing on-premise or single-tenant deployment, SOC2 or HIPAA attestations, or volume pricing, the Enterprise tier is bespoke. Contact us with your team size and event volume.
Can I switch tiers later?
Yes. Tier changes are immediate, with a prorated charge or credit on the next invoice. You keep your full event history through the retention window of your new tier; downgrades do not retroactively delete data, but new retention applies going forward.
What does retention mean?
How long event-level data is queryable in the dashboard. After the retention window, the underlying events are deleted; aggregate rollups (daily cost per agent, monthly counts) stay forever. Free is 1 month, Starter is 3 months, Team is 6 months, Business is 12 months.
