Data retention
Retention is two numbers per plan, because the two kinds of data have different lives.
| Free | Starter | Team | Business | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Step-by-step detail | 7 days | 30 days | 90 days | 180 days |
| Run history | 30 days | 90 days | 1 year | 1 year |
Step-by-step detail is every step of every run, including full inputs and outputs: what you see when you open a run's trace.
Run history is every run's record: outcome, evaluation result, duration, cost, and all charts and trends.
After the detail period, the step-by-step data for a run is permanently deleted. Your run history, evaluation results, and trends stay for the full history period, so your dashboards and reports keep working.
For example: on Team, you can open the full step-by-step trace of any run from the last 90 days, and see outcomes, costs, and quality trends for the last year.
Deletion runs nightly and is permanent. Step-by-step detail older than 30 days may take a few extra seconds to load when first opened.
